Prince Edward Island issued 135 invitations to candidates (Express Entry) in its Labour Impact and Business Impact categories in the draw held on 18^th July. The invitations were issued by the province’s nominee program or PEI PNP.

PEI (Prince Edward Island) is one of the nine Canadian provinces to take part in Province Nominee Program (PNP). This allows the participating province to nominate immigrating candidates/foreign workers, entrepreneurs and international graduates to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

Prince Edward Island or PEI’s Labour Impact Category is not aligned with Express Entry and is divided into three categories: 1. Skilled workers ( outside Canada and in PEI ), Critical Workers and International Graduates. To be eligible for these streams, candidates should be working in PEI or must have relevant full-time work experience or should have a long-term job offer from the employer in the province among other criteria.
