As per the strategical planning of the Canadian government, it is stated that the government will welcome nearly one million immigrants over the next three years.

There have been longer range forecasts in Canada as to how many immigrants will be permitted into the country. Statement by Ontario Immigration Ministry says that the province supports the multi-year immigration levels as a welcome step to provide more predictability to the program planning. This seems to be a bold plan which will call for an increase in numbers in economic, family and refugee categories.

A longer term will help support the growing economy and planning of appropriate service levels in use of resources. It targets 350000 people in 2018, climbing to 400000 in 2019 and 450000 by 2020.  Such immigrants will add to the continued economic development and expansion creating a healthy manpower, which will be a contributing factor to the Canadian GDP. The government is taking a more gradual approach to ensure successful integration. The government’s goal is to attract top talent in the global market while reuniting families and offering refuge to people who are displaced by conflict or disaster.

The 2018 Canadian movement design will achieve changes that will accomplish more to guarantee refugees who can turn out to be profitable individuals of the workforce.

Migration Act Ontario 2015 that has come in to effect from 1 January 2018. It lays the authoritative diagram for the most recent Ontario movement designation program.

The Act offers the endorsement of Ontario council for the making of:

  • Registration of employers in Ontario and enrollment specialists who satisfy all requirements to offer occupations and offer contracting administrations to abroad nationals
