275 EE eligible candidates received invites via Alberta’s PNP

Alberta has announced the results of its immigration lottery, which will take place on September 30.

275 Express Entry candidates with scores of at least 300 were invited to apply for a provincial nomination through the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).

In total, four Alberta Express Entry stream draws were held in September, each requiring a minimum score of 300. Last month alone, 1,610 invitations were sent out.

Since resuming invitation rounds in January 2021, Alberta has invited 5,617 Express Entry candidates to file for a provincial nomination. In the latter months of 2020, it went on a brief halt.

Express Entry candidates are invited to file for a nomination certificate, which would help them with their permanent residency application. Alberta is permitted to issue 6,250 nomination certificates this year.

The Alberta Express Entry program is a more advanced version of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). It enables the provincial government to scan the federal government’s Express Entry pool of candidates for candidates who might be qualified for a provincial nomination.

The Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program all use Express Entry as their application management system.

You will be given a score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System if you are eligible for Express Entry (CRS). You earn points based on your age, education, work experience, English or French language skills, and other things.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canada’s immigration service, organizes Express Entry drawings on a regular basis, inviting the top-scoring individuals to apply for permanent residency.

It is possible to immigrate without a provincial nomination through the Express Entry system; however, persons with lower CRS scores may choose to apply for a PNP. Provincial nominees receive an automatic 600-point boost to their overall score.

If the lowest-scoring candidates in the new Alberta lottery are nominated, their new CRS scores will be 900, which will be more than enough to be invited to the next Express Entry draw.

You must have work experience in a relevant occupation to be eligible for a provincial nomination under the Alberta Express Entry stream.

The AINP does not provide a list of occupations that are eligible for the stream; instead, it provides a list of occupations that are not. Foodservice supervisors, transport truck drivers, and cooks are among the jobs available to those who apply under this stream.

Work experience, a Canadian education, or a job offer in Alberta are all characteristics that boost your chances of getting nominated. It also helps if you have a family member, such as a parent, kid, or sibling, who lives in Alberta.
