Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allowed a total 2750 candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada on Nov 15 Express Entry Draw. The threshold CRS was 439 this time.
Candidates who scored 439 or higher in Comprehensive ranking score received an Invitation to apply by Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada. The draw was held on 15Th November.
IRCC has invited 2,750 candidates in the Express Entry pool to apply for Canadian permanent residence in a draw, that took place on Nov. 15. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of the lowest-ranked candidate, issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA), was 439.
A few cases of threshold CRS score were decided with tie-break procedure. Candidates who scored the same CRS 439, were given priority, if they entered their profiles in the express entry pool prior to Oct 19, 2017, at 12:02:28 UTC.
The CRS threshold this time is 19 points lower than last week’s draw, which had a cut-off score of 458.
The noticeable fact here is that this draw was the fourth draw in three weeks under Express Entry Pool, which has happened only once since the entry has come into being.
Canada announced new three-year immigration targets on Nov. 1 and more frequent draws could have the effect of increasing the number of ITAs issued and lowering the CRS cut-off score as candidates with higher scores are removed from the pool.
IRCC has to meet its target of one million immigrants in next three years.
