Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) are a form of economic immigration that allows provincial governments to handpick candidates who can fill in urgent labour force shortages, and are likely to become an effective part of the local economy.
On the 22nd of February, British Columbia welcomed 241 new entrants to their province through the Provincial Nominee Program. This draw included both skilled workers and graduates with a minimum score of 101 on SIRS (Skills Immigration Registration System) or 103 for Express Entry nominees. These individuals now have a unique opportunity to join British Columbia’s vibrant community!
On the 9th of February, Quebec issued 1,011 invitations to skilled workers that had a minimum score of 619 or higher on the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).
On February 23rd, the Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program extended invitations to 583 prospective candidates.The province recently invited 505 skilled worker candidates with a minimum score of 693 to join the program, including 207 workers in specific occupations and 298 with non-specific jobs.
