On August 25, Ontario held its second Master’s Graduate stream draw.
In order to be invited, candidates needed an Expression of Interest (EOI) score of at least 37, which was a modest decrease from the first draw. They’ve got 14 days to submit an application and pay the $1,500 application cost.
The Ontario Immigration Nomination Program (OINP) earlier this month launched the EOI admissions system for graduate candidates. International students who have graduated from eligible Ontario institutions with a master’s degree can now register for immigration through this Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) at any time.
Details about the province’s Master’s Graduate Stream
To be considered for the Master’s Graduate stream, you must first register with Ontario’s e-Filing Portal and then submit a graduate stream expression of interest.
The province of Ontario then asks qualified people to apply for a provincial nomination, which strengthens any application for permanent residency in Canada.
For your application purpose, having a pre-valid job offer isn’t a requisite, however, you must apply for nomination within two years of graduation. Graduates of the following universities are eligible to take this course:
Accumulation of essential scoring points for the Immigration pathway
Ontario evaluates EOI profiles according to a set of human capital indicators that the province has determined are significant in identifying immigrants with the ability to succeed. Your job offer’s skill level, as well as your Canadian work experience, get you points.
Depending on which stream you apply for, the OINP scoring methodology differs. It considers your wage, education, official language proficiency, and the place in which you study or work, in addition to your skill level and job experience. In addition, the province has the option of allocating 10 points to respond to labor market demands.
