The province of Newfoundland & Labrador will be launching two new categories for permanent residence through PNP (Province Nominee Program). The new pathways are:

1. International Graduate Entrepreneur Category
2. International Entrepreneur Category

This announcement was made through a press release by the government of Newfoundland and Labrador. The new PNP program allows the province to nominate overseas nationals. Through NLPNP, prospective immigrants with experience and skills will be targeted by the province and successful candidates will be eligible to submit Canadian permanent residence with processing time faster than other immigration classes.

The province of Newfoundland and Labrador already have three PNP streams which are ongoing and are also accepting applications under these streams:

1. Skilled Worker Category
2. Newfoundland and Labrador Express Entry Skilled Worker
3. International Graduate category
