Nova Scotia opens door for immigrants with NSDEE scheme

The Canadian province of Nova Scotia reopened its Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry (NSDEE) immigration stream for applicants. The scheme is designed for highly skilled working professionals.

Canada is an immigrant-friendly country to allow the skilled professionals to move in with an open heart. Following the same trend, Nova Scotia reopened its Demand Express Entry Scheme for immigrants last Saturday on December 9.

NSDEE is designed for the highly skilled individuals who possess a post-secondary degree and can easily integrate into Nova-Scotia labour market.

The entry is open again for Category B of the NSDEE program. This includes at least one year of continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time paid work experience in the last six years in one of the opportunity occupations, which are defined in the Opportunity occupation list of this Canadian province.

The Government of Nova Scotia announced the intake of 175 to 225 applications during the latest opening of the Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry (NSDEE).

The entry is to be operated on first-come, first-served basis.

As with previous openings, the NSDEE reached its intake limit quickly. Given this trend, candidates who are interested in applying to the stream are advised to be prepared by reviewing eligibility and ensuring all documentation is close at hand and up-to-date.

You can apply for this entry if you have a profile registered with IRCC Express Entry System, score 67 points on the six selection factor, proven language skills of either of English or French and minimum one year of work experience in the desired field. You also need to have sufficient finance to settle in Nova Scotia.

Contact our expert counsellors at ISA Global for more detail, profile evaluation or to apply for the entry.
