The government of Quebec has announced a new online portal to be launched in the month of September for its Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).  The province will start accepting applications through this new portal from September 2018 onwards.

The new portal Arrima will allow candidates to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) for QSW and will also help to reduce the processing time of permanent residence applications. The new system will allow interested candidates to submit EOI with their personal information along with some other details for the program.  The applicants will then be assigned with a score, based on that Quebec team will select candidates and invite them to submit the application for QSW.

At present, QSW is not accepting applications, it will start in September with their new online portal Arrima. This portal will allow applicants to prepare, submit and monitor their EOIs. Candidates submitting the application through Arrimawill have to submit the following details:

• Personal details
• Family information
• Contact details
• Education history
• Professional experience
• Language proficiency
• Job offer
• Status in Quebec
• Other complementary information
