The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has extended a policy that permits guests to obtain work visas if they have valid job offers
In order to take advantage of this short-term public policy, the applicant must meet these criteria:
1. Applicants must possess a valid status in Canada as visitors on the day of application.
2. Receive an offer of employment that has been validated through a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or is exempt from the LMIA.
3. All employer-specific work permit applications must be submitted no later than February 28, 2025.
4. Comply with every other prerequisite for entry
