Business Owner visa is for the people interested in investing in a business in Australia. There are two options to be eligible for Australian immigration through this visa, by acquiring an existing Australian business or commencing a new venture. .

Applying for this visa will be the first step to be eligible to become Australian Immigration Permanent Resident. This visa will allow you the following:

• Invest and flourish in a new or existing business in Australia
• Multiple entries in Australia until the visa is valid (usually up to 4 year)
• Family can visit Australia and are eligible for study and work rights in Australia
• Apply for Australian Immigration Permanent Residence within two years

Following are the criteria’s to be considered for Australian immigration through Business Owner Visa:

• Age limit: you must be under the age of 45 at the time of applying
• Vocational English is a must
• Assets:
  • Annual turnover of your business in home country should be of AUD 500000 and above in the last two financial years
  • To acquire a business in Australia your net assets in a government approved business should be of AUD 200000 in last two of four financial years

• You must have one of the following
  • 51 per cent of the business with the turnover of less than AUD 400000 per annum
  • 30 per cent of the business with the turnover of AUD 400000 or higher per annum
  • 10 per cent where the business is a publicly listed company
• The net value of your assets (including your spouse) should be of AUD 800000 and above
• You must have sufficient assets of  AUD 100000 and above other than mentioned above to clear the Australian immigration process and settle in Australia

• Most important of all you have a genuine interest and showcase commitment in participating in investing and establishing in the qualifying business(es) in Australia
