Physiotherapy is an occupation that is in demand in Australia. According to Department of Labor of Australian Government, there was shortage of physiotherapists in Australia in 2014. According to data from Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection around 5 employer- sponsored work visas (visa 457) were granted each year to immigrants, who were qualified physiotherapists, between 2010 and 2014. Besides this 21 work visas were given each year to self-identified physiotherapists between 2010 and 2014.
If you are a qualified physiotherapist then you should try to apply in a vacancy in one of the physiotherapy services or clinics in Queensland or other parts of Australia. If an employer finds you suitable for the job and is ready to sponsor you then you can get visa ‘457’ without much difficulty.
After migrating to Australia on the work visa and working there for a few years, there is a good chance that you will get permanent residency permit.

Have you applied for any jobs in Australia? If you are not getting good responses because of your visa status, you may need to apply for PR visa and then look for jobs there.
