PEI (Prince Edward Island) has issued ITAs to candidates in Express Entry – Labour Impact and Business Impact categories. The total of 116 invitations was issued to Express Entry candidates from Labour Impact and 8 invitations to candidates in Business Impact categories. The minimum score was 152 for Business impact category. The score for Labour impact category was not provided by PEI’s Office of Immigration.

The candidates who wish to apply under PEI’s Express Entry stream should create a profile in the province’s Expression of Interest system. The selection of the profiles is based on six factors: Language, Age, Education, Employment, Work experience, and Adaptability.

The candidates who have already applied and are invited by the Prince Edward Island Express Entry stream have 90 days from the date of invitation to complete and submit the application to the Office of Immigration of PEI. The applicants who have received a nomination from PEI are also rewarded with additional 600 points enhancing their scores in Comprehensive Ranking System.

PEI’s Labour Impact Category is divided into three streams: Skilled Workers, International Graduates, and Critical Workers. The candidates who possess skills and experience which are required in PEI’s Labour market can apply under any of the categories mentioned above.
