Nova Scotia draws enlisted medical attendants from government Express Entry pool

Nova Scotia PNP held the fifth draw through the Labor Market Priorities Stream on 28th October 2019. The focal point behind this draw was to enlist medical caretakers with work understanding through this immigration process. Past draws have focused on craftsmen, youth teachers, financial inspectors and accountants, and French-speaking Express Entry applicants.

Every one of those welcomed had a profile in the Express Entry framework, which deals with the pool of possibility for Canada’s three Federal High-Skilled financial migration programs — government’s Skilled Worker Class program, Skilled Trades Class, and the Canadian Experience Class program.

The Labor Market Priorities Stream permits Nova Scotia to look at the Express Entry pool for competitors with work involvement in occupations confronting work shortages in the area and welcome them to apply for a provincial selection for Canadian permanent habitation.

A provincial selection brings about an extra 600 points toward an Express Entry applicant’s positioning score and successfully ensures an encouragement to apply for Canadian permanent home from the Government of Canada.

Nursing applicants welcomed by Nova Scotia in the October 28 draw need to meet the accompanying criteria so as to be considered for a provincial designation:

Have an essential occupation as an enlisted nurse or enrolled psychiatric attendant (NOC 3012);

Have three years or a greater amount of work understanding as an enrolled medical caretaker or enlisted psychiatric attendant with letters of reference from employers;

Have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 8 or higher in English or French in every one of the four language capacities;

Hold a four-year certification or have finished a program of three years or more at a college, school, trade or specialized school, or other establishments.

Have an Express Entry profile that was submitted on or after November 1, 2018.

Those considered have 30 days from the date of their invitation from the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) to present a total application.

The NSNP permits Nova Scotia to select a set number of movement possibilities for Canadian permanent living arrangements every year through nine streams customized to explicit financial needs in the area.
