Recently, OINP (Ontario Immigration Nomination Program) conducted a round of intake for OINP Master’s Graduate Stream in 2018. The stream targets recent graduates from Master’s degree programs in Ontario.

OINP Master’s Graduate Stream

It is one of the streams of Ontario Immigration Nominee Program. This program allows Ontario to choose/select candidates who nominated for Canadian PR.

To be eligible to apply for this program the requirements are:

1. Education: Individuals should have completed their Master’s degree from any of the eligible institutes of Ontario.
2. Language: Apart from education, the candidate should meet the minimum requirement of language proficiency i.e.

• CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark)Level 7 (or above) in English or
• CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) Level 7 (or above) in French

3. Residency: Should have lived in Ontario for at least 1 year within past two years before the application submission.
4. Funds: Should have sufficient funds/income to support yourself and your family.

Unlike other immigration programs, OINP Master’s Graduate Stream does not require any work experience. And the applicants do not require an active profile in the Express Entry pool as well. This makes this program different from other PNPs designed for International Student Graduates. Candidates willing to apply for this program should prepare their applications in advance and submit it as soon as the program opens. Due to the popularity of this program, the intake period can be very short. Hence it is advisable to be prepared well in advance.
