Victoria (Australia) has opened PR Visa for Skilled Overseas Workers and is accepting applications for Subclass 489 Regional Skilled Provincial Visa and Subclass 190 Nominated Skilled Visa. The list of occupation (SOL) remains unchanged and a fresh application process can be applied to select the occupations. The occupations include Nursing, Engineering and, Building.

The new process allows the applicant to select Victoria as the state and file an Expression of Interest (EOI). After undergoing the process of EOI, if the application fulfills all the necessary requirements, the candidate receives an e-mail from Victoria to apply for the state sponsorship. The application must be submitted online within 2 weeks.

The occupation list has been developed after thorough research and consultation with the industries. The Skilled Occupation List (SOL) has been endorsed by the Department of Home Affairs with the state migration agreement, Victoria. Few selected occupations qualify for Visa nomination from Victoria.
