Canadian Experience Class Update: 3000 Fresh Candidates Receive Invites

The 5th of August 2021 witnessed a whopping 3000 invites sent out by the Maple country to its Express Entry pool of entrants so as to persuade them to apply for potential permanent residence within the country. Those who received invites were required to have a minimal CEC score of about 400 points so as to be deemed as eligible as per the Canadian Experience Class norms.

The previous draw for the CEC program gained the monumental status of acquiring the second-lowest limit score of a mere 357 points for potential applicants to become eligible to process forward. However, this holds nothing of the shockingly most low-score eligibility criteria ever to be reported which was a disappointing 75 as the minimal requirement accounted for back in the draw held on the 13th of February.

Complying with the guidelines associated with the tie-break rule, only those potentially eligible candidates who had successfully created and completed their profiles before the 3rd of August, 2021 were permitted to be a part of this draw. However, one mustn’t confuse this with the actual conduction of a tie-breaking schematic as this was only reported to be an administrative regulation as the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada).

Importance of a draw supporting only the CEC

Ever since the advent of this novel year 2021, the IRCC has invested almost all of its resources into shedding increasing importance to draws specific to the CEC as well as the PNP (Provincial Nomination Program) pathways. The primary reason could be that greater proportions of the general public applying for such pathways are already located or residing within Canada or are more likely to have some connections or relations here.

The main determining factor of this happening is the preliminary requirement to become eligible for this program being the compulsion of possessing some amount of relevant and valid working experience within the country. As per recent research, it was discovered that a whopping approximate of 90% of such candidates are always residing within Canada during their application process.

The reason for conveying such high priority to candidates living within Canada is that they have a very less likelihood of being heavily or crucially impacted by any COVID-19 associated mishaps or major happenings. Right until the 21st of June, 2021 all those in possession of a COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) were not permitted to enter within the country or proceed with completion of their application’s further steps.

Another prime reason is encountered with the surprising target for conduction of federal immigrations for a total of about 401,000 candidates by the end of this year. The premier half of this year witnessed Canada opening its arms to accommodate a total of 143,000 fresh PRs and to meet the objectives of its primary goal of immigration, the country will have to open its doors to about 43,000 fresh immigrants every single month till the year ends.

A depiction of Express Entry Invites All through the Years

If we go back to measuring the total number of ITAs given out since last year, the values have doubled quite similarly this year too. This clearly depicts how the IRCC has plans to admit about 108,500 novel immigrants through its Express Entry program by the end of 2021. As of this prime moment, the valuation stands at a close amount of 102,316 newly entered candidates.

Ever since a large amount of focus has been conferred upon CEC and PNP-specific draws, the nature of these numbers has been repeatedly rising and falling. Due to the CEC draws having a focused concentration of treating to just one silo of applicants, the cutoffs are comparatively lower. Since an increasing number of candidates are chosen from the cream of the crowd applying for the CEC, the cutoffs are falling low and they also aren’t competing with those applicants from other programs like the  Federal Skilled Worker Program. Alternatively, all those applying through the PNP have already received a bonus of 600 points to commemorate their achievement of receiving a nomination directly from the province.

The Canadian Express Entry Program

Deemed as the most renowned immigration processing system within the Maple country, this is a type of online application submission system quite well-known amongst potential migrants. Canada has set its bars high with a targeted goal of sending out approximately 108,500 novel invites to fresh immigrants through Express Entry pathways in this year of 2021 alone, easily surpassing its previous numbers as accounted in alternate immigration programs.

Applications and processing take place for the following three streams which are managed as Federal High Skilled programs, namely, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.

Through the assistance of such systems, it’s possible for interested foreign nationals to submit their profiles and additional details into the pool of Express Entry entrants to be considered for a probable PR status via obtaining an ITA.
