  • plan to live outside of Quebec
  • meet or exceed the language requirements
  • be currently employed
  • have eligible work experience
  • not be a refugee claimant in Canada

Apart from the above, for recent international graduates from a Canadian Institution & French-speaking recent international graduates from a Canadian institution should have recently graduated

The process for the TR to PR pathway is as follows: 

1. Eligible individuals must submit an online application for permanent residence. 

2. Once the application has been submitted, a processing fee must be paid. 

3. Applicants will then be required to go for biometrics.

The processing time for the TR to PR pathway can vary, depending on the individual’s situation. In general, it takes approximately 4-5 weeks for an application to be processed. The Processing fee is 570 CAD, the right of permanent residence fee is 515 CAD & biometrics fee is 85 CAD.
