Manitoba province nominee program invites more skilled workers to apply, the province has already issued 502 Letter of Advice to Apply (LAAs).

The Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to:

1. The skilled worker in Manitoba Stream – 187 candidates with the lowest rank score of 485.
2. Skilled worker Overseas stream (Strategic recruitment initiative) – 53 candidates with a score of 698.
3. Skilled worker Overseas Stream (Manitoba Province Nominee Program) – 262 candidates with the lowest rank of 584.

To be eligible for the Manitoba Province Nominee Program for Skilled Worker Overseas Stream, the candidate should fulfill the below-mentioned criteria to submit the Expression of Interest (EOI).

• Past education or work experience in Manitoba or a close relative residing in Manitoba is a must.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience in Manitoba’s in-demand occupation list is required.
• Proficiency in language should be minimum CLB 5, except the work experience shown is in primarily regulated occupation (minimum CLB 7) or for compulsory trade, it should be (CLB 6).

In Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative, the recruitment process is managed by MPNP’s representatives who conduct the interview of foreign skilled workers abroad and issue LAAs (Letter of Advice to Apply) to the eligible candidates, making it a formal Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP.

The Manitoba Province Nominee Program (MPNP) also conducts draws through Expression of Interest system, wherein the candidates submit their EOI to the province. Candidate’s profiles are assigned a score based on the answers provided by them in MPNP’s online system. The highest ranking candidates are issued LAA for a province nomination from the Government.
