Quebec province of Canada has released its immigration plan 2018, with plans to remain a welcoming state for the diverse range of immigrants from across the globe.

At the release of immigration plans for the year 2018, Quebec, the Canadian province had shown its immigrant-friendly approach for a wide range of skilled professionals, businesspeople, family members of Quebec residents, refugees who are looking to immigrate to Canada in the coming year.

The immigration plan revealed two important sets of figures: Quebec to select the target number of people and issue them a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) followed by the new permanent resident status.

The Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) is a document issued by Quebec declaring that the holder of the certificate fulfills all the criteria set by the province and is selected to settle in Quebec.

With CSQ, you can file the candidature for Canadian permanent residency to the federal immigration authorities. After which, your application will be reviewed based on medical and criminal admissibility grounds.

The province has plans to issue 29,000 certificates to the skilled workers next year. This includes certificate distributed under Quebec’s Regular Skilled Worker Program and Quebec Experience Program.

Immigration plans include a number of business immigration programs for entrepreneurs, investors, and self-employed individuals and to issue 4000 to 6000 certificates to business applicants in 2018.

Quebec Immigrant Immigration Program (QIIP) is such a popular program among investors to offers them ample opportunities to invest in the province under the guarantee of Quebec government entities.
