Saskatchewan to Intake 1000 New Immigrants Under Express Entry



Saskatchewan province is open for limited applications to apply under skilled worker entry, a sub category of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

Opening the doors for skilled immigrants Saskatchewan on Oct 26, 2017, has invited immigration seekers to apply under The International Skilled Worker Express Entry, which is a sub category of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

The entry is open for 1000 new applications for Provincial Nomination. No need to necessarily having a job offer in Canada to apply for this entry.

The applications to be accepted purely on first come first serve basis.

A successful application for a provincial nomination express entry is awarded an additional 600 CRS points and an Invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian PR issued during a subsequent draw from the pool.

To become eligible to apply for Saskatchewan Express Entry candidate have to score 60 points out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid. He/she should possess a minimum work experience in the related field to the occupation in-demand list of Saskatchewan and proof of sufficient settlement funds and a settlement plan after immigrating to Canada.

The last time this sub-category was in late July when the intake of 600 new applications was filled within days.

“Intake periods under this SINP Express Entry sub-category are typically short, usually filling within days, and the government of Saskatchewan does not give any prior warning as to when the sub-category may reopen,” notes Attorney David Cohen.
